top notch
I recently bought a 6.5 Grendel barrel for my side charger build. I have to say that I was really blown away by the accuracy of this 16" barrel. Shooting 123 grain Hornady AMax factory loads, I was getting just a hair over 1" groupings at 100 yards. This was shooting prone, unsupported with out a bipod. I will be doing further accuracy testing the next time I go out and I am sure I will tighten the groups to around .5-.75". For a $150 barrel, I am more then happy with it! At 400 yards, I was keeping almost 5" groups also from a prone unsupported position. These barrels can SHOOT!

excelletn 6.5 grendel barrel
I got one of these during the Xmas sale. I was initially hesitant as I've heard 18" is the optimal length for the Grendel. However, the price, and melonite finish , sold me. I'm glad I got it. Upon initial inspection I was very pleased with the finish. Smooth nitride finishing looks like satin bluing. I am very happy with the quality machining and finishing. After finally shooting it, I am happy with the performance as well. Shooting Federal American Eagle I was averaging 1" but this did include a couple of groups with flyers. Several groups were around .8" or a bit less. What really surprised me was even the cheap Wolf Ammo did about the same! It has a bullet that is 20 grains lighter but it still shot similar group size (with the expected shift in point of impact)

my man loved it!
Wow what can I say but this is a great looking barrel not a blemish on it and just as good as anything I've seen on the market.
