I just wanted to say I am extremely happy with the cobra tactical upper assemblies I bought the 223/556 upper in the pro series and also at same time bought the 7.62x39 7.5 ultra lite in the bare bones configuration really like the feel and looks of them both had a lot of compliments on them only thing I wish I would have got the 7.62x39 in the pro series also, the 7.62 bolt keeps being sold out lol everytime I get the email there in, by the time I get on the buy there gone. excellent product I would recommend to anyone wanting to get into the ar world you need to try cobra tactical systems awesome products ! bob from Missouri

Ok, so I got this in the middle of the week, took it out yesterday (Saturday) to shoot it. I mounted it on an Anderson AR-15 lower. Take my review for what it's worth, but I've been shooting ARs for over 30 years and I am not easy to impress. When I got this in the mail and opened up I was pretty impressed by the packaging, not just thrown in the box, it packed well and could have taken the worst the USPS could throw at it. The upper its self looked just awesome, there were a couple of things I didn't like when I first saw, I had asked for a differnt set of pop-up back-up sights but they put different ones on it, also there was only one short picatinny rail on the the side, they had moved the other to the underside to hold the AFG, I get it but it makes the upper look unbalanced, I will be adding three more to the upper for optional accessories and just to give it a ballenced look. It was very clean, but I did run a few swabs through it and added a light coat of Frog-Oil. I shoot Hex-Magazines, and had no problem with feeding at all, very smooth action all day, and we all know feeding is key. I first shot ten rounds just to get a feel, I hadn't zeroed yet so I was not on target, but the groupings where tight (I was shooting 5.56 NATO 55 grain). It took only 9 rounds to zero and the shot another 6 to confirm, so now I'm up to 25 rounds. Since I see this as part of my home defense and CQB action (with some work application as I am in LE) I was shooting at 25 & 50 meter targets, through the course of the day I put 210 rounds after zeroing plus the 25 so that's 235, would have done more but wanted to shoot my KSG as well. Bottom line, this is a very well built upper, next time I shoot it I will see how it does with 62 grain rounds. It has good balance and feel and just has a sexy look to it. I would and will recommend this to others and I will be ordering again from Cobra Tactical Systems, you can hagel on the price and Jose throw in a very nice Singel Point Sling, which I really like and may become my #1 sling for work. So other then the wrong sights and lack of short picatinny rails this is a very nice upper. Thanks for reading and take care..........

Waited a while to do the review so I could shoot it. Worked great little to know recoil. Looks great. Price is great. I nice solid build. I should have done one of these sooner!

Tbe upper was a nice addition to my collection. Just ensure you check the barrel nut and the gas block to verify they are not loose. Mine was and had to be torqued down.

I am on a bit of a time crunch, so I wasn't able to spend a lot of time at the range, but I just had to get out there and put some rounds through this beauty. This CTS upper build is awesome! I had so much fun with this pistol I was late to work. The only issue I had, and everyone should always inspect their gun, is that my rails were lose. When mounting my flashlight, I noticed the top and side rail were lose, easy fix, but would have been frustrating to find at the range. In any case, I love it, especially the forward directing muzzle brake. I now want one of those for my Draco. Ordered, shipped and received in a timely manner, I am very pleased. I bought a couple of rails and they were great. This upper will not zero for the life of me plus the cheap plastic sites went on so tight I can't get them off to try a different set. I have called CTS. Numerous times; thus I've yet to get a reply back!!!

My 7.5 upper is thumbs up, not one complaint on product. But plenty w\ service. Despite ordering almost month early , got my upper 2 days after Christmas and well past 13 day disclaimer. That by itself no prob, but i have never been able to reach a person at any point or even a reply to email.
