I have bought in excess of6 of theses. Work fairly well, on some lowers required contouring to allow hold open .

In the pic it looks to be a very close copy of the bad lever from magpul but unfortunately it is a bad copy. It sticks out to far from in the trigger guard when installed. It is to big to use on most mil spec Recievers as the back of the lever is touching the upper and will not let the lever drop work correctly when trying to use the lever for dropping the bolt. This does however fit me live free armory 308 with standard paddle. So unless ur getting this for 308 spend the little extra and buy magpul

Installed and broke the first use, maybe a bad one out the batch idk. Cobra tac did give full refund no questions ask though so props to there great customer service

Horrible product does not fit a mil spec lower from palmetto state armory at all! Hopefully the one I received was just poorly made but I would NOT recommend

I bought these for some of my builds because I've tried the bad lever and it worked great these just for not the right dimensions for the builds that I have so I bought three of them for no reason so far I might be able to use them on something Sunday but right now they're just $75 worth of paper weights that won't hold paper down because they're too light

fit and Finish, as well as alignment is perfect.

one of them worked GREAT, the second one wouldn't tighten down. the plate that tightens it seems stripped. Tried emailing COBRATAC, no response.

Doesn't even fit..oh wait, that's because they sent me a lower parts kit instead. Mistakes happen but i went online to try and resolve it and never heard back from them. I picked two up of these up while they were on sale. I own a few of the Magpul and Tac Link catches. These compare favorably. Closer in design to the Magpul but different. For one, they stick out the right side farther than the Magpul. Secondly, the section that runs through the trigger guard actually sweeps back diagonally. For me this was too close to my trigger finger, I was about to remove it for that reason, then I decided I’d just try and bend it. I have actually broken a Tac Link model doing this, but they were worthless to me the way they shipped. Low and behold the metal is soft (maybe not a good thing for longevity), this allowed me to bend and shape the extension to the exact position I needed. So far so good, although I wish it wasn’t so long, around a quarter inch longer than the Magpul.

I ordered (2)... both were from different makers and slightly different in shape... (1) didn't quite fit over the bolt release lever as it was too tight and I had to use a file to trim a bit off the bolt lever head to make it fit properly... once that was done, both function well and I did get them at an awesome sale price!
