Extended Takedown / Pivot Pins are ideal for a custom look or when frequently swapping upper receivers. Simply grasp the large, button-style head or pull ring and disengage the pin—no more need for a pin punch to risk scratching the receiver. The Pin shafts are designed to lock the same as factory pins and are direct drop in replacements to mil spec pins. Perfect for the shooter who utilizes different uppers for various applications on a single lower receiver. Crafted from precision machined USA steel, again this set is a drop-in replacement for standard AR-15/M16/M4 pins.

Note: only the rear pin will have a pull ring, due to extensive customer feedback we have eliminated the pull ring on the front takedown pin.

Nice little addition
Recently purchased a set of enhanced pivot/take down pins just to see how they would work out with the convenience of a ring and I honestly don't know why i hadn't done it earlier...I was hesitant about having another "thing" to get snagged or caught on something hanging off my rifle but they lay flat and don't even rattle or make any additional noise for those who may be concerned about stealth... the rings make it so much easier to break the rifle down in sec's definitely a must have if your receivers are tight and have a hard time popping your stock pins. Buying a few more sets for future builds.
