The Blue Force Gear HK Style Hook is a heat-treated steel quick-clip sling adapter modeled on the HK hook design popularized by German military and police slings — a spring-loaded snap hook that clips directly over a sling loop or bar without threading the webbing through, allowing instant attach and detach of a sling end with a one-thumb operation in under a second. The 9g (0.32 oz) heat-treated steel construction is rated for the full load of any rifle sling application and the spring tension is calibrated to prevent accidental disengagement during normal rifle handling while allowing deliberate one-handed release under stress. The 1-inch sling slot accommodates all standard 1" rifle sling webbing and the black subdued finish maintains low visual signature. BFG uses this hook as the forward attachment point on their Vickers Combat Applications Sling — the standard by which modern two-point combat slings are judged — and it is available separately for sling customization and repair.
