CBUS polymer sight, excellent product for a quarter the price
I have personally used nearly every type of sight in the Service and civilian market after severe use and testing the product works remarkably well. Do not expect to be a $1000 sight set up, but has the same or similar features, is extremely rugged, and well thought out, better materials than what would be expected at this price point, and the ergonomics make ease of use a pleasure. My testing does not involve running around and playing games, this sight was thrown out of a moving vehicle, in mud, frozen, and finally broke when drived over with a truck all while on a AR 10, but up until the point of catastrophic failure, repeat zero was mildly effected as all free hand shots at 50 yards was excellent within 1 inch, excellent product for the price, never rely on batteries or tritium, any BUIS is a must and known how to use, the molding of the rear peep holes may need slightly cleaned up, but overall, an excellent alternative to the MBUS if you are on a budget, or not concerned about name brands or using them in actual battle situations, this is an excellent buy are works remarkably well. Pretty Sweet CBUS
The Cobratac CBUS set is sweet, made out of tough polymer, great design as well. Not needing a front sight adjustment tool is very cool, especially when my buddies and I are at the range and I see them fumbling around looking for one and me..... just reach up and give a twist and I'm sighted in. Great product, I would and have reccomended to friends and others at my lo all range.

Great Alternative
Great material (polymer) very durable . Im very suprised how good these came out to be. I bought these for my ar15 build because i was in a budget thinking later on i would need to replace them. I was wrong . I do my training with these and they work out great !

Fair honest review CBUS POLYMER BACK UP/FLIP UP IRON SIGHT | ALTERNATIVE TO MAGPUL MBUS
First off, let's make sure we're apples to apples. These are ALTERNATIVE magpul buis, not clones. That being said, not fair to use magpul buis as a "standard". Instead, let's talk what $30 is going to get you (thanks for the free shipping!) Out of the box - securely packaged and all parts /tools accounted for. Preinstall: all parts look to function as needed. Some residual plastic from casting but nothing that inhibits functionality. Noted assembly of the release switch was slight off but snapped into place with a slight push bug again nothing that inhibited function of flipping. Mounting: easy install. A bit snug but if you were expecting different, you haven't installed polymer on a rail before. A couple taps and a couple turns of the wrench and we're set. Mechanical zero rear: for anyone who has never done a mechanical zero on irons, do some research then come back as this will be useful info. Positive clicks sometimes "soft" or "dull". Definitely more so toward the end limits. This made it a bit difficult to center the rear sight but nothing more than counting to 90ish a couple times. Mechanical zero front: didn't bother. Had my RDS already zeroed so raised the post. Snug turns on the knob reassure me that it wont go out of whack easily. Function: both sights pop up easily when engaging the pop up switch. Both fold down and lock closed. Note that the rear sight aperture must be on low light to down completely. Regular aperture my be a hair small but thanks to polymer, is easily widened if desired. OVERALL DAMNED PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE! FOR $30 YOU HAVE SOLID POLYMER FLIP UP BUIS. DON'T PLAN ON SHOOTING A FLEA OFF A FLY ON A FROG ON LOG. THESE ARE BACKUPS AND ARE MEANT TO GET YOU BY IN A PINCH. THAT MEANS STILL BEING ABLE TO EFFECTIVELY PUT ROUNDS DOWN RANGE. Maybe look at updating the design to move the rear sight aperture bar further forward. Will update after range tested!
