Great price for a 7075 t6 handguard with great fast shipping

I've used many handguard systems over the years, both free floating and not, some of which were rather expensive. This one from Cobratac has become my new favorite. It mounts easily and securely, doesn't require tedious timing with the gas tube, and looks fantastic. The included steel (not aluminum!) barrel nut is simple to install without proprietary tools, yet supports proper torquing with the use of an offset (crowfoot) wrench and torque wrench. The finish is very even (many I've used in the past have not been), the color is a uniform deep black, and the machining is smooth. With no additional rail segments installed, it provides a very slim, comfortable platform for shooting off a bench or freehand. I can't wait to try a shorter version on my next pistol build!

My order was lost in the mail, and customer service was quick to refund my shipping fees and locate my package. When the handguards arrived I was even more impressed. They are extremely light and well made. The finish was excellent and they fit perfectly. I will definitely continue to be a cobratac customer and recommend them highly to anyone.

It took me a min to figure out how to attach it...without reading instructions...but it fits like a glove ...perfect..

No need to align a bunch of screws lightweight stout and good looking. Just like me.
