Great Value, Occasional Mag Stick
Sometimes the magazines get sticky if loaded to full capacity. Backing off a round or two fixes it. Otherwise, the kit is fantastic for training and fun plinking without the high cost of 5.56 ammo.
-
Perfect for Rimfire Competitions
I used this kit in a local match, and it ran flawlessly. Ejection was consistent, and the mag changes were smooth. It’s also easy to clean, which is a plus for dirty .22 ammo.
-
Good Build Quality, Slightly Tight Fit
I had to apply a bit of force to seat the conversion into my upper. Once in, it functioned smoothly. The extra mags are a big plus, letting me shoot longer without reloading.
-
Quick, No Tools Installation
It took under a minute to convert. The stainless bolt carrier feels sturdy, and the mags feed well. If you want a fun, affordable range setup, this is absolutely worth buying.
-
Great Training Tool
I use it for practice drills, and it helps maintain muscle memory. Occasionally, I’ll get a stovepipe on bulk ammo, but that’s typical with .22LR. Overall, it’s a solid kit that pays for itself quickly in ammo savings.
-
Accurate Enough for Range Fun
My AR groups surprisingly well with this kit at 50 yards. The stainless BCG is well-machined, and the mags lock in securely. Perfect for new shooters or skill-building without the 5.56 ammo cost.
-
Works Okay, Some Jams with Bulk Ammo
For casual plinking, it’s fine. I had a few feed issues with cheap ammo, but high-velocity rounds ran better. A convenient way to shoot on the cheap, though not flawless with all ammo brands.
-
A Must-Have for Any AR Owner
This conversion kit is a real game-changer. Installation is literally seconds, and the mags are sturdy. Now I can focus on fundamentals using cheap .22LR instead of .223, saving me a lot of money.

Good Kit, Minor Tweaks Needed
It dropped right in, but cycling subsonic rounds required a slight polish on the feed ramp. Now it runs smoothly. Definitely worth it if you want to train without burning expensive 5.56.

Brilliant for Cheap Practice
Converting my AR for .22 LR was easy with this CMMG kit. I can keep the same trigger while saving a ton on ammo. The three mags feed reliably, making practice sessions a breeze.
