Bought it to add a little more blue to a black and blue rifle AND get an ambi mag release. It works well and looks good. My only complaint is the extended release is a bit shorter than the one I took off. I have small hands so might not apply to you. The machining on this is exceptional. The parts are dovetailed and then held from slipping with the screw. Most of these have two screws and are over sized to make the paddle portion work. This took some engineering. If you didn't want an extended release you could turn the button over or use a GI one.
