When I got my brake, I immediately went to put it on. Not happening. There were no threads ! Called Cobra, they were in as much disbelief as I was. While on the phone I sent an email with a picture. Before we got off the phone, a new one was being processed for mailing and I was sent a postage to return this one. Had a new one before I mailed out the defect. Well not only does it work great, but they gave me 26% off on my next order. Never had a problem like this with all the Cobratac stuff I've bought. But hey. These things happen. I bought this on a whim to put on my 7.5" SBR 7.62x39. Indeed, the looks and sound of it made me grin. It also keeps my shooting buddies from grimacing when I shoot it nearby. The regular AR-15 flash hider and my muzzle brake are so obnoxious on this SBR that other shooters back away from the firing line when I shoot it. Now, with this flash hider, it is not bad at all to shoot and it keeps the neighbors happy.
