I bought Cobra Tech's 7.5" upper receiver build and have really enjoyed it. One of my favorite parts of this upper is the muzzle break. This muzzle break works so well at controlled chamber pressure and noise that I had to have one for my AK-47 Draco. Now when I go to the range all the discharge noise is directed down range and I'm not running people off with these very loud short barreled pistols. The Screaming Banshee 3 piece muzzle brake is very affordable, easy to install and clean, and I couldn't be happier with it.

I bought this on a whim to put on my 7.5" SBR 7.62x39. Indeed, the looks and sound of it made me grin. It also keeps my shooting buddies from grimacing when I shoot it nearby. The regular AR-15 flash hider and my muzzle brake are so obnoxious on this SBR that other shooters back away from the firing line when I shoot it. Now, with this flash hider, it is not bad at all to shoot and it keeps the neighbors happy.

To start with, it took over a week to ship, then USPS shipped it from FL to WA state so that made it extra slow in arriving. When it finally shows I was going to,let the shipping fiasco slide but then I open it and see the cone is rusted and pitted. It came with set screws but no instructions on how it is secured. Mine is actually 4 peices. There is a threaded adapter for screwing on the barrel, then that threads into the body, the cone and the cone retention ring. I don't know if the adapter is supposed to thread out,of,the body, I see what may be staking marks inside or if,the threads were not deburred but I didn't see anywhere to put set screws. Also the cone retaining cap has a spring thing that can lock into a machined slot, I can only assume this is the operating position and allows gas to travel thru the body and cone as I mentioned, no installation or other documentation was provided. The knurling is very shallow on my unit and the ring has straight scores while the body is knurled, it would look nicer if this matched. It appears rugged but I hope the thin spring doesn't get lost when I am in the brush hunting. I got this for my 300 Blackout pistol with Sig brace I plan on using for hog hunts. I may have to make a better mechanism if the spring isn't reliable. The coating on my unit was very poor but I will be spraying sine Duracoat on some ARs so I'll just spray my Krinkov then. Its been a hassle so far, but $70 cheaper than the Flaming Pig.

everything has been perfect each time I order. Several times I have looked at the make offer option then kick it to curb because I would rather pay full bore retail to keep these guys in business. Price has been good each time
