The Magpul PMAG 10/30 Gen M3 is the California/Colorado/Connecticut-compliant version of the standard 30-round PMAG 30 Gen M3 — a full-length 30-round-profile polymer body with an internal limiter that restricts capacity to 10 rounds for compliance with state laws that prohibit standard-capacity magazines while remaining externally identical to a full-capacity PMAG. For California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other restricted-capacity states, the 10/30 provides the same ergonomic, grip, and platform compatibility as the standard PMAG in a legally compliant package. The Gen M3 internals are unchanged — constant-curve geometry, four-way anti-tilt follower, impact-resistant polymer shell, and Magpul quality manufacturing throughout. The 10/30 is also selected by some tactical shooters for weight reduction in applications where 20 rounds of stored ammo in a 30-round body is desirable.
