The Magpul PMAG 20 Gen M3 is the 20-round iteration of the most battle-proven polymer magazine design in history — the same Gen M3 architecture as the 30-round PMAG 30, just trimmed to 20 rounds for prone shooting, benchrest work, vehicle and aircraft operations, and any platform where the 20-round flush profile provides a meaningful operational advantage. The Gen M3 body incorporates constant-curve internal geometry that prevents the feed-lip binding experienced with older box magazines at low round counts, a four-way anti-tilt follower that maintains correct cartridge alignment from round 20 down to the last round, and an impact-resistant polymer shell that survives drops, overruns, and environmental abuse that would damage or deform steel magazines. The 20-round PMAG sits essentially flush with standard AR-15 stocks when shooting prone, eliminating the snag and cant issues that 30-round magazines create in the prone position. Ranger plate is compatible for positive extraction.
