The ST-T2 buffer is one of the softest shooting, smoothest, and quietest buffers on the market; not to mention it looks awesome! It is 100% maintenance free! A heavy buffer won’t stop gas blowback when suppressed. And a clean has tube will have little effect. You could try a charging handle designed to block the gas from going into your face, or you could get an adjustable gas block to limit the gas coming into the action. You will likely have to adjust it when changing from suppressed to unsuppressed.
