Traditional muzzle brakes are particularly punishing to both the shooter and any individuals in the area as they spread a wide pattern of concussive blast, as well as Hot flying particulate as they mitigate muzzle rise and Recoil. The better the brake is at compensating recoil and muzzle rise the more severe the concussive forces are to any one in the immediate area (0-15 yards). This obvious performance edge comes with its draw backs, tactically working as a team, others will be negatively affected by  "your loud AF rifle!" At the range no one will want to be close to you, and your friends and family will no longer want to shoot with you. 

How do we try and solve this issue? We use a Linear Can type device that is designed to mitigate all 180 Degree muzzle blast and direct it down range at an approx 60 degree angle. The end result is Night and Day!
