The ALG Defense Forged Sling Swivel | Dark Desert Clay provides a versatile, adjustable carry and retention solution for rifles and carbines. ALG Defense designs this sling for rapid transition between strong-side carry, low-ready, and port-arms positions without tools or complex adjustments. Quick-adjust hardware lets you dial in length on the fly, and the broad webbing distributes weight evenly across the shoulder to reduce fatigue during extended patrols or range sessions. The standard QD configuration makes it compatible with any device that accepts QD accessories. The FSS weighs roughly 0.5 ounces and is about half the weight of similar steel QD sling swivel assemblies. The FSS is forged from 7075 T6 aluminum, which is the same aluminum and manufacturing process used to make mil-spec upper and lower receivers. This process allows the FSS to be strong enough to withstand pull forces of up to 800lbs.
