The Fire Hog MOD-FH is an exclusive, industry leading, Extremely effective Modified 6 prong Linear Flash Suppressor/Compensator hybrid Brake. The Fire Hog MOD-FH greatly reduces both recoil impulse and muzzle rise and flash, so that the weapon tracks straight back to keep you on target for faster shot-to-shot recovery. The MOD-FH is fully compatible with the MOD-FC blast diverter can designed to minimize side blast and rear-directed concussion effects. Description of the Flash hider with the Blast diverter can installed:

Traditional muzzle brakes are particularly punishing to both the shooter and any individuals in the area as they spread a wide pattern of concussive blast, as well as Hot flying particulate as they mitigate muzzle rise and Recoil. The better the brake is at compensating recoil and muzzle rise the more severe the concussive forces are to any one in the immediate area (0-15 yards).
