I first purchased back in April. They only had blue and ordered 3. Went to range and what a difference they made. I ran it thru urban close quarter drills, breaching drills, and OMG. What a difference it made on my weapons. I then ordered 3 more in black. Many of my friends have now converted to these.
I strongly recommend picking one up to try. You wont be disappointed.
Cobratac Response: Thank you Enjoy!
Took it to the range and my buddy had a comp on his blackout and the concussion was crazy. While shooting with this Blast shield there was no concussion and believe it or not it was actually quieter because of the blast shield. Very happy
This thing works really good on a 7.5" barrel, Made the gun very comfortable to shoot. Now i just need to get a .30cal one.
Cobratac Response: Your FMC will handle the .30 cal it will handle all the way up to 9mm caliber. just buy the 5/8x24 thread adapter and your in business! thank you for the review
I was lucky enough to be able to stress test a prototype of this model... overall results amazing! the can and the baffle have high temp o-rings so when you tighten the end baffle to 20 lbs everything locks up nicely and stays put i have over 700 rounds through it so far... the thread adapter has 13/16-16 threads and doubles as a solvent trap adapter if needed for cleaning. the can itself comes apart for cleaning. people have asked if this is a sound suppressor... it is not! it has a deep boom similar to a compensator brake actually... the flash however is completely mitigated and is hard to see on video i took. the recoil was perceived as a bit less but that is probably not measurable since the gasses have to escape forward. my double and triple taps at 25 yards were still pretty tight at 1" groups so im very happy with the performance of the can! ohhh the best thing its superrrr light only 4.25 oz you can barely tell its on there as you run n gun through the course! thank you for letting me TnR I give it 2 thumbs up.
