The Magpul M-LOK Polymer Rail Section 5-slot is the simplest, lightest way to add a short stretch of Mil-Std-1913 Picatinny rail to any M-LOK handguard for mounting accessories that require a traditional rail attachment — lights, lasers, pressure pads, and any legacy accessory that pre-dates the M-LOK standard. At 2.3 inches in length, the five-slot section provides enough rail for one or two accessories without adding the bulk of a full-length rail panel, and the Magpul polymer construction keeps the weight addition to roughly 0.8 oz for the section plus hardware. The low-profile design sits as close to the handguard as physically possible within the M-LOK system geometry, and the non-conductive polymer eliminates the heat-sink bite of aluminum rail sections during sustained fire in hot weather. Installs in under 60 seconds with two M-LOK T-nuts and the included T15 Torx hardware.
