The FDE coloring is right on par with standard industry OEM specs, and the overall quality is impressive. Even so, the compartment adds a functional touch that I can grow to love over time. I did install it on a .22 cal AR platform, and with a minor modification—trimming the tab above the top finger mold and drilling a second hole beside the existing one—it mounts perfectly. This minor task is manageable for anyone who enjoys modding their rifles. The grip’s rubber texture and thoughtfully designed finger molds not only enhance comfort but also ensure a secure hold during extended shooting sessions.
