DXT2 Big Dot sights focus attention on the front sight using a high-contrast front and a V-notch rear for an unobstructed view of the front sight. The DXT2 Big Dot front sights feature a patent-pending glow dot that absorbs light and emits a glow in low light levels before the tritium becomes visible. Optic Orange is designed to deliver a high-contrast sight picture in bright light and remain visible as lighting decreases. To ensure visibility in uncharged low light, optic orange relies primarily on yellow with a touch of red. The larger surface area of the convex dot enhances light absorption, increasing the charge of the glow properties. The "dot-the-i" sight picture, with a tritium dot in the front sight and a tritium bar in the rear, prevents confusion between front and rear sights in stressful situations.
